Tennessee Mountain Yoga Retreat

There is nothing quite like a long weekend in the woods with wonderful people. As soon as I’m away from the city, I can feel my whole body soften. I find myself feeling lighter, grounded, and energized. Time seems to move slower. I’m more present. Setting aside a couple times a year to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of my daily life and reconnect with nature has been invaluable to my growth and mental health. I want to create holistic opportunities for you to do just that; to reconnect to your highest self by:

  • Drinking water straight from the earth at one of the seven springs.

  • Cleansing your body from the inside out through organic vegetarian meals, prepared by a local farm-to-table chef.

  • Taking advantage of 1-2 daily yoga classes and guided meditations, your body will gain strength and flexibility and your mind will start to clear.

  • Basking in calming and healing sounds during a cacao sound healing ceremony.

  • Learning about the diverse ecosystems, indigenous plants and the Cherokee people from master herbalist, Tyson.

  • Fully relaxing as you tube down a river after hiking in The Great Smoky Mountains.

  • Sharing stories and singing songs around a warm campfire over s’mores.

  • Finishing the weekend with a closing labyrinth ceremony.

Join me At seven springs retreat center June 9-12, 2022!

WHEN & WHERE Get ready for four days and three nights completely immersed in nature and self-care! From the moment you arrive on Thursday afternoon, to the moment you leave, Sunday morning, everything has been planned and taken care of for you. Seven Springs Retreat Center is a glamping village located on 126 acres of private land in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, near Maryville, Tennessee. The high elevations make for a temperate rain forest and some of the most ecologically diverse land in the country. The average temperature in June typically ranges from 64°F to 88°F. With the perfect weather, no wifi and little cell reception, your days will be spent hiking, exploring, and connecting with the people around you.

SLEEP There are six yurts on the property. Each is decorated with traditional textiles and artwork from the countries that the host family frequents. The yurts are fully furnished including electricity and outlets. We use 100% organic cotton sheets and towels. Each is equipped with fans for the heat and extra blankets for the cool nights. There are private and shared yurts available.

EAT & DRINK There will be coffee, tea and fruit available each morning. Meals will be vegetarian and made from locally sourced organic produce crafted by a farm-to-table chef. Vegan and gluten-free options are available if requested upon booking. At the head of the watershed, these forested slopes make for perfect aquifers, so you’ll drink pristine waters from a natural tap. There will be no alcohol provided, however, you have the option to BYOB.
